PPP stands for Public Private Partnership. A PPP is a cooperative arrangement between public and private organisations that are commonly involved in a project, meaning jointly offering their expertise, material resources and finances. This way, benefits of all organisations can be used for the best outcome. The state sector creates the frameworks for a healthy environment and safeguards the interests of the common good. Private partners use their expertise to care for the efficiency of the project.

However, safeguarding the integrity is central to all common actions within the partnership, despite (perhaps) different interests. Thus, a Code of Ethics has been signed with all SALTO partners.
